Haven't heard this, I did plan on listening to it seeing as it got some attention, don't really know anything about who she is or whatever but I just saw this video and thought it was pretty awful. Is the whole thing like that?

basically, Scuro. She recorded the whole thing pretty poorly so even Garm producing it wasn't able to make it sound very good. Guitar sound is really bad, riffs sound wobbly, they turn the bass up really loudly at one point to make it seem heavy and evil bc the guitar can't do it itself. The Enya metal tracks are passable and her screams are actually pretty good, but outside of those two aspects this is pretty bad. The live album she put out this year is actually surprisingly good tho bc there are not awful guitars.

it's pretty funny actually. Jam this and then look into her live album and you'll be stunned how much better it sounds than this.

The live album, Mausoleum, is much better than this. It's mostly choir based with a few instruments (acoustic guitar and piano) but it's very pretty. No harsh vocals, just Myrkur's angelic voice. There's also a fantastic cover of Bathory's - Song to Hall up High.
