Went through mellon collie yesterday. The album sounds as charming as always. I never realised how much appreciation I have for this band, and I mean, the band CHANGED my life in secondary school. Much more than Nirvana did in my childhood.

I remember when one of my dad friends came over and he played Disarm, was really cool.

This album is still a hard jam even if I dont come back to it as much as I did before. Mellon Collie is great too but kinda bloated.

That's probably it, young minds are impressionable and we attach ourselves for life to music. There are probably a few albums that I'm attached to that are complete trash, but they were part of growing up.

Ars, to me... They're just as awful. I've tried and tried to appreciate their peak albums and I don't hear it.

MCR debut is straight up Post-Hardcore/Emocore with huge Ink & Dagger influence and has some killer guitarwork tho. And for Blink Cheshire Cat is pretty sick and Punky.

DoofDoof, no need to be an ass. One can have a mature conversation without throwing passive aggressive insults.

@IcoHolic: name 10 artists you like that aren't prog, so we don't just think you're biased against non-prog

Sorry but advocating for mature conversation and being a Tool bootlicker who shits on a 90s Alt Rock drummer for not drumming like modern Prog Metal bands are pretty contradictory things.

I just rambled off a bunch of randoms.
