seeing all the comments on this band's videos for songs off this album are great. all these comments about how this band has brought back UK punk and theyre the band 'we needed'.



My personal favorite is: 'Sounds like Johnny rotten, glad to see British punk is making a come back'

i still remember when that weird retro beatles wannabe band made out of 15 year olds with long hair wearing stupid indie hats came out and the comments were full of out of touch parents going on about how they were making real music and bringing it back and i wanted to scream like a child

oooh yeah, i remember that band. the name escapes me but they had that momentary lapse of being 'the thing' until everyone subsequently forgot they even existed. they sure brought back REAL music, huh?

basically doom theyre overly british watered down punk ethos band who seem in touch with the youth and working class but are in fact from tunbridge wells, one of the most out of touch middle class places ive ever been (was their last week for a moose blood show and it was depressing)

They also lack a massive amount of punch and conviction when it comes to selling that they're one of them 'punks' who know how to go against the man... MAN. Not to mention that, compared to their first, this album just sucks on its own merits when removed from any political commentary.

yeah as Clover said they are also one of those really "punk" bands in image and style and swagger yet theyre musically pretty bland and so come off as fakers, sellouts etc whatever

i heard both albums and obviously can't relate to the lyrics and the messages and other shit, i just enjoyed the energy, fun stuff, nothing special. unfortunately, the hunter got overplayed on the radio in russia, so these guys definitely fall out of the "punk" category 4 me.

Just one of those lame bands that do the bare minimum of channeling the styles and trends of the works they pay homage to but dress it up as something far grander with an obnoxious, jaded self image of importance when they could easily get away with doing the exact same thing on a much lesser scale. Its a lot harder to sell their brand of political punk now and days, to me.
