The Drift is my least favorite of the trio but it's also the one I've listened to the least so.

I've said it too many times, but I'll say it again. I think that Tilt and the Drift are pretty much even, while Bish Bosch is a bit weaker but is still good. Every so often he seems to stumble a bit on it.

Actually, there is plenty of humor in his newer stuff even with how dark it is.
|
| |
Yeah but I don't think those were aimed for humour

But they were. Any more recent interview with Scott Walker will have him mentioning the fact that there is humor mixed in on his albums.

Tilt is definitely the most serous of his "trilogy".

The cacophony of sound after The Cockfighter picks up is glorious.

Soused is a actually surprisingly good. As a whole I may actually prefer it over Bish Bosch. I dance back and forth between preferring Tilt or The Drift

Bish Bosch seems more approachable somehow even though it's probably his nuttiest album. It may be the guitar riff focus.

great album! liked it alot more on 2nd listen

With Tilt or the Drift the first listen is an experience you'll never quite repeat, but all of the details and layers start to come out upon repeated listens. This is one of those albums where you can find something new almost every time you listen to it.

its such a breath of fresh air and so easy to grasp despite its avant garde-ness , fell in love with this today after about 4-5 listens
