Band is way too bro-ish for my taste. The song "Just Drive" by these guys is also a pretty shameless rip off of "Be Quiet and Drive" by Deftones.

I think Eating My Words is the worst song of 2015 so far.

That's a bit harsh Cameron. It's probably the most formulaic song here (along with 'Gravity'), but it's catchy enough to get the job done. Worst songs of the year are usually a lot less safer than 'Eating My Words'.

Need to listen to this more to get a solid opinion, but every song on here sounds like Nineteen With Neck Tats

"every song on here sounds like Nineteen With Neck Tats"

While I wouldn't say diversity is their strong point, I also wouldn't say that every song on here sounds the same.

GoM, there are streams of this LP at Kerrang ( http://www.kerrang.com/31972/four-year-strong-stream-new-self-titled-full-length/ ), Fuse ( http://www.fuse.tv/2015/05/four-year-strong-album-stream-premiere ) & AltPress ( http://www.altpress.com/news/entry/four_year_strong_redefine_sonic_aggression_on_self_titled_albumfull_stream ). Pick your poison.

It's no RODT, but it's still really enjoyable.

In a way, it's a compliment that someone who thinks their debut LP is their best, can still enjoy this.

I guess I have both RoDT & EotW at a 3.5, so I shouldn't be too surprised.

Good to hear Atari.

That there is GoM... Although you could make an argument that there is energy in all of their releases.

For some reason, they took down 'I'm a Big, Bright, Shining Star' on SoundCloud... So I've had to attach 'We All Float Down Here' instead.

Great review. I haven't heard music this good from this genre since the In Her Own Words EP back in 2010

Thanks Kingsman... And welcome to the site if you're a newbie.

I'll be honest; I'd never heard of In Her Own Words... But thanks for the roundabout recommendation.

"So you're going grey already Sanders, is that what you're saying?"

Looking that way. The traumatic life of a medical professional!
