Yeah, I was referring to 'All Killer, No Filler' Spec. While 'Chuck' appeared to be a great move to prolong their career, I still rate 'AK, NF' as a better individual record.

They don't quite go all the way back to that raw sound here cyg, but they do step back in that direction... But without the synths.

Personally I think them dropping the synths was a good choice, while it worked with the early work, sometimes it felt real cheesy. While I can totally jam RoDT or EotW, I prefer these synth-less albums that carry a more "mature sound"
