Wolf King is such a lightning in a bottle record for the genre imo. The incredible guitar work dueling with the incredible vocals/choruses are what really make it special. Travesty is a great example of that

Coward is my fav off this album. Am I crazy for thinking it sounds super flat on the remaster….? Comparing both versions right now and it’s pretty noticeable

Yeah I love the guitar parts on Wolf King. I remember hearing that opening riff to Wake Up the Sun the first time and thinking to myself "this is going to be a very different HTD album." That opening riff on "Crush Resistance" rules too. Walk With a Crooked Spine and Travesty are awesome as well.
