To reiterate myself here "...a surprising amount of Jon's lyrics on this are actually quite meaningful..." by no means translates to "all." However, a good amount of the lyrical passages are a step in the favored direction.



Edit: Some of my personal favorites lyrically are "Shark Dad," "Variation," and "Lost." There are quite a few very enjoyable metaphors sprinkled through those.
