I've enjoyed quite a few of Jordan's solos, but Moore was superior, no doubt

Not his technique, more his choices and style

I always forget how good Innocence faded is until I hear it. Holy shit I forgot about this version of Labrie, it's been so long

Jordan uses apps ffs

I know right. He needs to use an actual Hammond, mellotron, rhodes, etc

Don't diss the apps. I was checking out a rig rundown of Diego from Haken and his whole rig is app based too and there's nothing to complain about

I like a lot of his tones. He can use the modern tech, but he should also use the more organic instruments as well. They give that much needed warmth to the music. Mix things up.
He doesn't even record on an actual piano, I mean come on. This is the guy that learned a chord on a piano before he could say "mama"

Which probably means that he likes what he likes since he's the one listening to it nearly every waking minute if every day. Quibbling with it would be a bit like quibbling with Petrucci for not playing acoustic guitars.

That being said, I often wonder about his choice of tones too. It kinda defines cheesy sometimes. xD
