"New album as quickly as it's legally allowed"
Does this new album have 1000s of samples that need legal clearing or something?

I really do believe this isn't 3.1 territory but whatcha gonna do

3.1 is exactly what I'd rate it, can't relate. But I still think this is better than we were dead

Dang, not a fan of either huh? This one's been growing on me a lot over time, I wasn't so sold on it previously.

We Were Dead has very few highlights really.

@Mars definitely agree. If this was a few tracks shorter it'd be a 3.5 easy
And yeah, I was never a fan of we were dead. I DID give it a 3.0 recently though so this old heart can still change. Scrooge on christmas day style.

The Best Room is a legit 5/5 classic Modest Mouse song. The rest of this album is a notch down but still damn enjoyable. This band hasn't made a bad record and nary a poor song.

That is a beautiful 5
|

Wow 5 what do you guys have moon and lonesome at

Isaac could walk up to a mic, scream into it for five seconds and then leave an hour of static on the recording, and somehow I'd find a way to emotionally latch onto it and go "yup, this is art"
But yeah I do love this. Lonesome is a 4 but that's an outdated ranking, Moon is a 5.
Maybe their whole discog is a 5 at this point, I dunno.
|
| |
Moon and lonesome are stone cold 5's yeah

Moon was actually the first MM I heard. Friend of mine was a huge fan so I got around to it through him. Loved it from the opening chords.

Yeah it's my fav
