true

well if these solos are so easy then why am I having trouble with some of them. I may not be a great guitarist but i can play all the solos in Metallica's Master of Puppets. so maybe these solos are a little tougher than you think

thats wierd man, no offense or anything, but maybe you play the puppets solos slopy or something, but i havent heard you play or anything.

well i did practice that solo alot.. but Godsmack solos have a weird style to them. Master of Puppets flows really well and are pretty easy once u get the speed down

This IMO is Godsmacks best effort. Excluding their Unplugged album.

f*** yea this album is hot. Godsmack left me satisfied again with One Rainy Day and Shinedown. I Like a band who has some balls and isn't afriad to move around musically. I'm verry impressed with what the smack had to say in this album.

mudvayne had a better all around album, godsmack had better standout songs

Mudvayne absolutely kills godsmack. Please, people. L.D. 50, anyone? Classic album. What has Godsmack done? Well, they released one relatively enjoyable, catchy rock album (self titled). Then they released three consecutive average to bad albums. No competition in my opinion.

the only godsmack album that stands up to mudvayne is Awake, but that is just my opinion. i havent heard L.D. 50 except for one song (Dig) so i can't judge you on that Brain Dead

i think godsmack had better radio-friendly tracks. But mudvayne > godsmack. No competition. L.D. 50 is killer, but Mudvayne has never made an album that im dissapointed with. Unlike Godsmack. But lV IMO is one of their best albums. Its right with the S/T. You can tell they were in the zone when making this album. The vocalist was fighting alot of inner-demons when making this album. And was actually close to quitting. It came out awesome.

I'm not big on Nu-Metal, but I'll jump in this anyway. Mudvayne overall is far more consistent than Godsmack, though it is a fair assumption that they were equal during the L.D.50/S/T. However, as Mudvayne have progressed they've changed their style alot, where as Godsmack... Well, yeah. Talentwise, Tony Rombachajsfasfkis a better guitarist than Tribbet, but Mudvayne's drummer is probably more talented than all of Godsmack combined.
