I'll refrain from giving this album a rating yet - I need more listens. Sure it's good, but DM'sD was much easier to get into, this one is probably a grower/discovering album... and such albums are the best for me, since their appeal never, ever goes away.
Plus Spec, you're a bitch alright. How is this band mediocre? Oceano is mediocre. Despised Icon is mediocre. The Acacia Strain is mediocre. This is fucking awesome. You said they're "not even the best band in deathcore out there" - well enlighten me to some better ones please. Unless you mean The Red Chord, which sure has deathcore influences, but isn't a deathcore band per se.

Nah, I'd say "Fused together in revolving doors" is slightly better than Desperate Man's Diary. And definitely this album. The emo lyrics rub me off in the wrong way, TRC doesn't have those and they have a fine sense of humor. Plus don't look like dolts but real metalheads, which doesn't hurt imo :3

To clear things up: I'm not really concerned about the band members' outward appearance (unless they have emo haircuts - enough is enough), but most modern deathcore bands refuse to look like metalheads simply because they're convinced that metalheads are unpopular and don't get any ass. It's kinda disrespectful to the musical and cultural roots they borrow from...

Probably. They announced new album in 2010 on BTBAM message board but I haven't heard anything new from them since then. I am afraid that they're just another big dissapointment after 2011 Trenches failure :/

Why did the guy even bother giving Cellar Door a 4 out of 5, it's just a 50 second filler track of creepy noises.
I don't know why you hate on this so hard spec, maybe it's the stupid Fieldy sounding bass tone.
