Top notch review, It's amazing a band like this came from the same town as me, their live shows are also
amazing.

Great review! I started listening to these guys when they released Sines, but each album is so consistent, I love them all.

This is actually so much better than Solace and Sines imo. I'm surprised. Last track here is a monolith.

Might up it to a 4.0 but needs more listens. I like that it gets heavy. Solace and Sines never really get that heavy despite that people call Jakob a heavy post-rock band.

Still gotta try Sines.

No way is this better than Solace but it's still amazing.

solace has quite a heavy atmosphere tho and pneumonic rams really hard. sines on the other hand is a lot lighter

well the opener still has a lot of solace vibes. other than that it's much lighter

Is this one more varied/melodic than solace?
The reviewer for solace talked about each track having a distinct identity but i found the drumming in particular on the first tjree tracks to be annoyingly monotonous, although i listened to it with crap speakers in a noisy environment

the jakob drummer has a really great style. very smooth and atmospheric drumming. but... they dont much deviate from that kind of gliding over the toms style.

Love this band. Such an exceptional combination of simplicity and thought provoking complexity.
