A 3 is fair, as I've said Titan; ain't that bad, but yep, don't listen to it much when well you have the others y'know..
I probably didn't like it as much when it came out, but I was really young. I think when 84 came out a couple years later I didn't rag it as much. Also, I didn't really listen to much 90's VH or late 80's VH but i'd probably argue unlawful carnage is in the same ballpark

It ain't that bad Budgie, solid stuff. I sleep on II sometimes, but it's a great record for sure. I'm a little surprised that's Titan's favorite though. Don't scorn me bro! I know dance the night away is the catchiest song ever. Somebody get me a doctor is my fav.. so good, it could almost be on the debut! ha ha

Hey guys! Seems I'm a bit late to the party but II is def my fav VH. And let' s be honest, Diver Down is so much fun. Some VH classics on there imo.
Where Have All The Good Times Gone guys?

if we're being honest, i barely listen to this band anymore.....if there was ever a great band from the 80's and into the 90's that didn't transfer all to well to the younger generation in to the 00's, VH is that band
these guys were huge

I know what you mean Titan but from time to time I still enjoy a good VH binge. Diver Down and II still have replay value for me.

agreed Davil......i usually go to II or Fair Warning

I don't listen to them as much as I used to and honestly it's hard to tell what will transnsfer well to a younger audience because well I'm not young anymore, but to be fair a lot of my favorite bands are before my 'era' so to speak. Sometimes great things are timeless

Haha yeah just wanted to add Fair Warning but somehow sput is pretty slow here... Damn fine record.

for sure Jeff, all of my favorites were doing it before i got in to music so yeah.....some bands just don't make it across multiple generations though

80's seems to be that decade sometimes I feel titan, spefically. But I totally agree..scary to think about. The kids here have anything 'core' injected into their veins we'll see what lasts longer I'm ready to roll the dice

yeah and we would probably as well.....and like i was saying, i think bands like KISS and AC/DC fall in to that 'non'transferable' category as well although when i saw AC/DC live, there were a lot of youngsters there, just like Rush. Van Halen didn't seem to have the same type of turn out, demographically, when i saw them.

I really ask myself sometimes if an album is still worth a 4.5 or 5 rating even if I almost never spin it nowadays. Depends on the album somehow I guess... Some of em I've rated down over time some I still consider “worthy“
