I don't understand what people have against Spencer. Sure his vocals are closer to like punk or post-hardcore, and having that in a progressive metal band (even one that already sounds pretty close to post-hardcore/metalcore) is sure to turn people off, but isn't that supposedly part of what makes Periphery unique? Plus he has so much personality - you'd never be able to miss that it was Spencer singing, and that's hard to say for metal these days.
