Deep Six is a good song.

The only two weaker songs on this are "Slave Only Dreams To Be King" and "The Devil Beneath My Feet", but even they rule.

believe it or no this is the first manson record I checked in full. Its much better than I anticipated.

Dude, check out the Triptych trilogy (Antichrist, Mechanical, Holy Wood), this is his best since Holy Wood, but them three albums will never be surpassed.
|

I'll give em another try. I kinda like the approach manson takes on this not to blatantly shock.
Deep Six is so simple but so easy to enjoy.

I like how consistent and focused this one is. The triptych albums are awesome, but all are long and have some parts one could see as filler, even if it fits in the grander scheme.

Check out Eat me, Drink Me then. There's quite a lot of that kind of style on that I think you'll dig.

Much as I love the Triptych trilogy, Eat Me, Drink Me is probably my favorite of his, the opening two tracks are among the best he's ever done

Warship My Wreck was like Manson + NIN....definitely the best song on there.
It's a really solid album. Wish he ventured out a bit more, he kept it pretty simple, but it got the job done. Love what he said about feeling like he's paying his dues to the devil for the promise he made when becoming a rockstar.

The only weak track here for me is "Birds Of Hell Awaiting". It's not a bad song, but it drags on a bit too much for my liking. It's got a cool bluesy feel but yeah... everything else I'm very positive about.
"Mephistopheles Of Los Angeles" and "Slave Only Dreams To Be King" are probably my favorites. It's a really consistent and solid record all the way through though.
