So, is this better than the first 2 album? They are painfully average.
J. Cole seems to be loved among my normie friends, they crapped their pants after I said that he is average.

I like that one track from that one album where he raps over the Da Art of Storytellin beat

I mean mainstream rap fans praising an average artist is better than praising a shit-tier rapper

like im just teasing this guy for calling his friends normies as if they are any different than him or anyone else but at the same time if i had to pick one hip hop artist/group that is the definition of normie music it's run the jewels

What is the definition of normie for you anyway? I mean my friends who only listen to the hip-hop tracks that are played on the radio, or spotify main hip-hop playlist.

You'll be surprised how RTJ are unknown to my friends.
Even for the one who exclusively listen to hip-hop.

"theyve played fucking msg, as they so desperately want everyone to know"

Can you elaborate on this? I'm actually curious.

None of my friends know 'em, they're not on radio, got started with El-P's and KM's fairly small fanbase. They've grown for sure but less than 2 mil plays per day is nothing compared to J Cole's 12+ mil, Kanye's 21+ mil and Drake's 36+ mil.
So yeah, I wouldn't call them mainstream at all.

have you heard rtj3

i care not look up the exact lyrics or the exact song but one of the more annoying moments on that album is when they are in the studio and recording LIVE FROM THE GARDEN LIVE FROM THE GARDEN
