what the southern drawl thing?

I just prefer vocalists with, well, a less amateurish technique; so I guess, yeah, that's part of my problem. The vocals in Ohio made my ears very unhappy. I kinda like Lounge though (probably because that's the one with less vocals, I think).

| |
Well now the vocals won't take you by surprise on the next two albums
|
| |
I think I already won the challange then, uh... Well, I said I was going to listen to the first three, and I will. Maybe I'll even add We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank.

isaac is a boss and i will not tolerate any slander

But you didn't hate this did you
|
| |
Well... Shit, hate is a strong word, I guess I didn't.
|
| |
I mean, I kinda hated the vocals in Ohio but... Idk.
|

So I'm yet to be proven wrong
|
| |
Dammit.

:D

I forgot how hard it is for me to hate something, hell, I don't even hate all (maybe not even most) of my 1.0s. But I... I'll keep trying, you shall see, I'll succeed.

I can definitely understand someone not vibing with Isaac’s vocals, especially here where they’re very emo a lot of the time. I love it but The Moon and Antarctica is definitely his best and most agreeable album as far as vocals are concerned.

Alexander, what's your favourite non-classical artist? Just asking out of curiousity
|
| |
John Fahey, easily.
Sometimes I call him a "classical artist" but it's mostly out of respect, and I'm the only person I know who would even call him that anyway. I think that if he were alive he wouldn't dislike the label more than the "folk" one though.

Never heard of him, will check
|

Yeah, you should. American primitivism in general is my favorite thing in music outside of classical.
