Their follow up full length is cool too, but it's definitely a different beast entirely. It has more of a gothic vibe that this one doesn't have with a lot more clean vocals and less distorted guitar passages.

I wonder what makes some reviews get all the reads/comments/etc and some get nothing at all. I wrote a whole bunch of reviews on here for really under the radar stuff that I hoped to expose to people, even sometimes providing links when legally obtainable, and nobody would give a rat's ass. Ah well. Thanks for giving this a bit of exposure. I think I actually prefer the follow-up.

This album might be one of the most overlooked und underrated albums ist the history of heavy metal music. 26 rates? Kinda sad...
I just can't believe how good this is, especially when considering that it was released 1992. The exceptional artwork, which exactly represents the mythical and dark but yet beautiful atmosphere of the album; the brilliant songwriting with innovative ideas, catchy soloing and melodies, wonderful acoustic passages and dynamic drumming; the remarkable singer. The whole concept of the album is amazing.
