And how is Optimistic better? I suppose it depends if you want to rip up the formula completely, or just replace Optimistic with a better (vaguely similar) song. If you think Kid A’s flow is destroyed somewhat by Optimistic’s placement, then yeah just replace it with something entirely different, or (hypothetically) rearrange the track-listing.

optimistic is one of my favourite songs and i can't really imagine replacing it (i will admit that it's a bit of a odd one within Kid A, but i like how it switches it up). But if i were to replace it, then i might be wrong would be my pick, i think it would sound great between treefingers and in limbo

Just gonna give my two cents:
Packt: 7
Pyramid Song: 10
Pulk/Pull: 7
You and Whose Army: 9
I Might Be Wrong: 8
Knives Out: 9
Morning Bell/Amnesiac: 6
Dollars and Cents: 7
Hunting Bears: 5
Like Spinning Plates: 8
Life in a Glasshouse: 10
Seeing those ratings, my 4.5 overall for this may be a bit of a stretch, but I actually think this one is a bit better than the sum of its parts - when I'm in the right mood. Pyramid and Glasshouse definitely lift it up a lot though. An excellent complement to Kid A, in fact I've probably listened to this more than I have Kid A in recent years.

Kid A's 'Morning Bell' is obviously the better of the two, but the Amnesiac version is still awesome, especially as a kind of diffusive experiment. Same content, different context type of thing. In fact, this version might not be as good without the direct counterpoint of the Kid A version. Y'all be trippin'.

This version's morning bell sounds a bit off to me. I think it misses the beats that drive the kid a version forward so well

Literally correct if I'm counting correctly - Kid A version is 5/4, but this one is 4/4?
