You should check this band the Singer was in a bit later called Castles from Belgium. Probably the closest thing they did with maybe less Core but still absolutely great.

This Elegy is chunkier and has more spiraling hammer-on leads iirc. I like them both a lot. Their first album is worth a check too if you haven’t but it’s a pretty weird listen after hearing these
