Could have used more time in the oven to develop some of its ideas but I think IF were onto something with this album. I liked the stripped-down feel of this one. t/t is one of my favorite IF songs from any period.

"some kind of identity" is a good way of putting it. for as many missteps in songwriting as this has, at least it feels like they were trying to write an album, unlike the last two which feel more like loose collections of rock radio-ready singles.
