Very nice Mark, been jamming this a bit lately and it seems solid at the very least. Sounds as though they're stepping out of Kurt Vile's shadow with this.
Couple of small things, in your first para you use harsh twice in very quick succession, and the sentence starting 'the lyrics smack' in your second para reads awkwardly.
