They took a little sip from a lot of great artists: Queens of the stone age, muse, foo fighters, white stripes...
Solid sound makes a solid album

Muse? nah, I'm not hearing Muse out of these guys. QOTSA and Foo Fighters I could get behind though.

I love this album but I have this one hipster friend who thinks they're fucking reinventing rock or something

I enjoy this cause it's fun and full of energy, there's definitely nothing new being brought to the table here

This is ok, but there's a lingering feeling that something is missing. I agree with the above comments: QOTQA do this kinda thing a lot better.

@Toondude10 what would you class it as? It's no frills, the lyrics are bad and the hooks and riffs are the driving force of the music. Sounds like what radio rock is to me.

garage/blues rock, some would consider it stone rock, either way it's far from radio rock.

This is definitely radio rock. From what i know is radio rock not a specific genre, it's just rock that's a lot on the radio or atleast accessible for the radio

Listened again, still has some of that charm. I'm betting on a shitty sophomore album, though, hope I'm wrong.
