Great review. I agree. The vocals are bad, too loud in the mix, and unpleasant to listen too. The instrumentls are very good. Nice riffs, vibrat melodies...

I enjoy Reroute and Soundtrack to some degree, so that's four shitty versus seven good. But in terms of time, they've been shitty almost the same length that they were good

Regrettably, Siren Charms is probably the first genuinely terrible album by In Flames
They have at least 3 others that are genuinely terrible.

although I'm kind of a fanboy out of nostalgia cus in flames got me into metal for the most part and was my favourite band for a lot of high school I'd say playgrounds is their only really bad one.

How have you never heard Whoracle when it's totally their best work along with Jester Race? Also, Lunar Strain is way better than a 3. Easily a 4

what's funny is I was obsessed with in flames in like grade 9-11 but never heard jester race until like last year. My ratings are grossly skewed by nostalgia most likely but I still find something to enjoy in every in flames' album.
