Somehow that slipped by me. I've been waiting those 5 years sitting on Opeth's last 3 albums because I couldn't even get through the first listen without falling asleep, but with the new one allegedly being good I'm finally gonna listen to these albums.

Can't avoid how cool those riffs are on first half of the album/ first tracks...this on the other hand has no riffs, this album is dying here...both are Opeth's let downs tho...and my 2 least faves from them..

Yeah they definitely are their low point.
Nothing on Sorceress comes even close to Eternal Rains and River for me, like I've said a million times by now probably haha!
