Still waiting for this one to click. It's nice and pleasant, and the narratives aren't boring, it's just all too incredibly unengaging for me, I'm not into the songwriting at all. Glad this grew on some people, though.

Still can't get over how awful this album ended up being after how great all of their other music was. One of my all time favorite lyricists just... listing things that happened to him. Every time I try to listen to a song form this I get like 30 seconds in and can't deal with the cringe and just turn on literally anything else from this band. Only reason this isn't a 1 is that the music and vocals and technically good but utterly ruined by the lyrics to the point of being comedic.
