@Judio!
The ones on Farewell?

Yeah, but the spoken female vocals in general are just beautiful. Even though they're not on much of the album I really they add so much to the atmosphere of the music, especially at the end of Pillars.

I don't know how the lot of you can stand to listening to extended periods of atmospheric black metal, but this is good to listen to for about 10 minutes at a time for me. Probably the closest I will come to enjoying the genre

I think it's easier to digest because this isn't really straight-up atmospheric black metal. The atmosphere doesn't linger in the background, but it's right in your face, and the melodies created by it are some that I don't mind listening to for extended periods of time.

I remember reading an interview with Serj from System of a Down about a double LP they recorded called Mezmerize and Hypnotize. All the music was recorded at the same time, yet the band decided to release the two albums separately 6 months or so apart because he didn't think his listener's would have the attention span to sit through/digest over an hour worth of material.
@Anthracks comment reminded me of that interview.

Honestly, it's become increasingly hard for me to sit through whole albums these past few years. I partly blame myself, this site, and the internet as a whole.

Lock yourself out of your apartment on a day you have absolutely nothing do for at least 8-9 hours.
You'll have enough time to listen to whole albums.

It's not about having enough time, it's about being impatient as fuck.

That's the second anti-Semitic thing you've said to me in the past 24 hours ... let's keep that ball rolling :D

As if you Americans wouldn't pull racist/jingoist jokes on a daily basis. I heard more racial slurs in one week in the U.S. than I did here in more than a year.

Oh no, I agree, we are terrible with that kind of stuff haha. I'm part of the problem though, I find racial/offensive jokes the best, and never fail to make one, even at the expense of my people.

Only gripe with this, is sometimes the ambient parts mixed with the bm bits clash a bit and sound a little odd.

Disagreed, I think the ambient sections fit perfectly here.

I didn't say they didn't work, I said sometimes it clashes or becomes a little odd during parts of the songs.
