Agreed hard. I caught them in 2014 or 15 in a small venue and it was easily one of the best shows I’ve been to. Got to watch lord gold jump kick a dude off stage for trying to take selfies with them mid set.

Hell yeah. Nate took my hat and wore it for about a song and I got the mic for one wailing of LITTLE ANDROID MAAAAAN, which is basically all I needed in life.

Earth tour got me into these guys. I always thought they were decent until I watched that and it changed my view on them and their music completely. Need to rewatch that again since it’s been years.

Meh, that was disappointing. I know Nathan was never really good but he's horrible here.
Nogimbus is cool at least.

I wasn't as into them initially, but the new songs are solid. I'd like more prevalent keys, but I'm still in. I feel like some of the lyrics might be too on the nose, but the delivery is good.

I did notice on the new EP that Erik is strangely a bit lower in the mix. David's riffs and the rhythm section are the standout imo, David's fully embracing his inner Andy Summers and I love it. Very underrated as a guitarist

He is underrated for sure. His playing gets buried in the mix a lot on this and A Natural Death which doesn't help

super not loving the vocals on the first song
there's something missing in this song in general tbh, it might just be the production

feel like they keys and bass are buried and everything is just bit too soft / toothless

yeah wow the mix on the second track is even worse the lead guitar is way too loud and i don't know what it is doing sitting so far over on the left stereo but it's distracting af

Nogimbus was pretty solid. Not really loving the other 2 tracks tho.

That run up in The Failure of All Things is the most gangster shit.
