That song is so chill and nice without being stupid or cheesy. Well maybe a little cheesy, but it wouldn't be DT without the cheese

The chorus is well cheesy, but in all the good ways. The overall feel of the song resembles something from FII too

Yeah it's strangely comforting

Especially when the subject matter isn't. Rudess' moments on it are so good though

Yeah not like when he tried to copy it on the ballads on their last few, it sounds out of place on those for some reason

The synth wank really suits the song and the acoustic guitar too. The instrumental part is really relaxing too

This album is so well made and put together, unlike a lot of theirs. Everything just sounds so consistent and in the right place. If not for the incredible musical highs and achievements of I&W and Scenes, this would definitely be their best

This is their third best in my eyes anyway. Could even be a 5 but disappear and misunderstood are kinda crap

At least they're not horrible or embarassing unlike half the songs they did after this

True. Misunderstood is pretty unmemorable though. The nice thing about disc 1 is that each track has it's own individual meaning and some decent lyrics too

And they're all so different, and they're heavy without being super dark and overdramatic like most of the albums after this

The first disc should have been the only disc.

I can tell most of you will disagree with most of what I say about the rest of their albums.

You'll have to wait and see! I'll probably have Train of Thought up in the next day or two.
