I definitely prefer the more atmospheric songs - Tiny Tears, Deep Peace, the Fluke, Canada - this is definitely his prettiest album and that's where its strength lies imo

Of course - I'm just so glad he realised how comfortable he'd become with DTP and broke them up, as we should see him at his most creatively unrestrained for some time. I don't think we'll see something like this again as unfortunately I think the 'mad' in 'mad genius' left when he sorted his life out, but Empath does sound pretty ballsy. If I could ask for one thing back though it would be production like this. I'm certain it will be at least a 4, possibly a 4.5
