I missed my shot to see Thrice on their farewell tour, and now I've done the same with these guys.

Haha I'm just yanking your chain tommy (although it will be played)

It was 2007. Brand New was playing TDAG, Thrice was playing the Alchemy Index Vols. I & II, and mewithoutYou was playing Brother, Sister.

It was a dream come true, wish I could relive it somehow.

Oh damn that sounds amazing. My favorite was probably seeing Dillinger Escape Plan, because those guys are freaking lunatics onstage. Needtobreathe puts on a damn good show too.

Oh, man... that would have been fucking amazing. I think I was wanting to go to that, but they didn't come anywhere near where I lived.

"I missed my shot to see Thrice on their farewell tour"

I don't think I realized it was their farewell tour when they were on it, otherwise I would have been on that. I heard they might be coming back for another album/tour, so I will have to find a way to see that, if it happens.

Rise Against used to put on a hell of a show (no idea how they are now). I saw them at Warped Tour a few times back in the day, and they were fantastic live. Tim was spot on vocally from RPM and Siren Sounds.

I actually just saw Brand New for the first time a few weekends ago. It was pretty glorious.

Dustin still tours a bit for his solo stuff (which I think is great as well), so I still have an opportunity to see him live at least. I also think another tour at the very least is pretty likely, but we'll see.

It was. I still remember, 7 years later, what each band opened with. mewithoutYou started with Wolf Am I!, Thrice just played the whole 2 EPs, so they started with Firebreather, and Brand New started with Limousine.

When I saw them, they played a pretty good portion from all 3 albums and Seventy times Seven from YFW.

It was a really good set list. They played Millstone, which made me entirely happy.

They actually did it in chunks tho. They played a bunch of songs from Daisy, then Deja (with Seventy thrown in towards the end), and ended with Devil/God. I think Degausser and You Won't Know were the last two songs they played, and it was fucking great.
