I had to do some research but they've been out of the picture for sixteen years... Plus not every review has to be in the context of their entire career. Sometimes it can just be "here are my thoughts on this album, right here right now."

You may be right about that but I don't feel like I stepped too far out of what I knew - it's not like I made direct comparisons to prior work or claimed to know anything about their long career dating before 1998.
