After glancing at your taste, I think you might be right Ed.

I just listened to this album for a few times and my initial impression is very very good. My 4.0 is a rather cautious assessment and may go up.

"Tonitro" is the best album opener I heard since "Auto Rock"

I also wanted to say that this review is very well written =)

Cheers bro. Tonitro builds perfectly, and the way it blends into Bare My Bones is super.

@Calc haha damn dude I was listening to this and thought something along the lines of that, totally sounds more like what I'd have expected from an instrumental Tides of Man before their more 'traditional' sounding post-rock album actually came out

To people that like this I'd also recommend WWGBBYW by Weary Eyes, another kind of experimental sounding post-rock album released recently. Last I checked it was the highest rated post-rock album on Sputnik for this year

Such a cool record. It gets just a tad bit too dragged out on subsequent listens, though that might depend on my mood. Still, I'm

gonna give their first record a listen.

This is damn good, but occasionally feels a bit artificial

Gotta say again, if you want something similar to this but perfect, try Solterra - Umbra
