Agreed, this album is pretty tame compared to EF's. Well i feel like he hardly even gets a chance to show what he's got on the cleans department. I, The Creator is the only one i'd refer to as being amazing, clean-wise. It's like most hooks/choruses are too samey for him to be able to work them like that

Agree with your opinion about Matt Rose
Like your use of the term "djent noise"
Agree about the cymbal work being great
Now that you mention, you're pretty right about the production. It kinda transforms what could be
referred to as djent riffs in "djent noise" even though lots of riffs themselves sound and play the
same in
this album.
Overall you put out a good idea of the whole thing, nice video review man.
Two things, an "interlude" can't be an intro at the same time. You said that Samsara should have
been used as "an interlude in the beginning", just thought of giving you the heads up. And your ABR
shirt rules

Thanks, man! You're right about the Interlude thing. I often get musical terms and and the structural elements of songs wrong.
I'm pretty new at reviewing stuff and I find it difficult to express my opinion precisely when talking. Sometimes I say things that I don't necessarily mean or believe.
The point of my channel is really to better express myself in musical terms. I'm hoping one day to work in the Audio industry. I hope practicing an eloquence for something I'm passionate about will help in that pursuit.

First song slays balls.
The thing about this genre is that I don't see many of these bands lasting for more than a few albums.
And there is nothing wrong with spencer. He just has to sing such lame and goofy parts. Listen to his vocals on non periphery
songs and he tears it up.

@Moreira: Yeah, Periphery's first vocalist was Jake Veredika (had to Wikipedia the last name). That dude was insane and he wasn't in the band for long, but I remember liking him more than Chris.
