Haven't heard a djent release since masstaden/Februus I thought interesting. One was great and Hidden Words is the pinnacle of the genre but Gnosis was disappointing. Probably won't bother with this.

"So is this more generic Meshuggahcore/Djent with weepy vocals?"

this is one of the bands that still gets away with what is essentially an extremely basic djent sound (albeit with some personality to it), because they own it and do it well

Okay, so this is Meshuggahcore. Thanks for not making me waste any time.

I know that's supposed to be an insult, but I have no problem with that label.

Their potential was clear in listening to Gnosis and watching them live.

To hear them realize it by upping their game on this album is fantastic.

"vocals sound.. ..unmolested"

I get what you're going for with unmolested, but you might want to change your diction there. Sounds a little weird. Otherwise a pretty cool review.

you should enjoy it bloc, seems right up your alley. + it's way more interesting as a whole compared to Gnosis.

not really... not gonna lie the 2 bands sound extremely different. barely any comparison at all besides the obvious djent factor.

i know it's on spotify, but it's pretty much only been released EU.

NA isn't for another week or so. not sure why they did it this way... makes everyone in NA just find a torrent.

Would be pretty cool to see a monuments and periphery tour where spencer sings with chris on denial.

Album is crushing. This is what Im hoping Juggernaut to be like.
