The album just feels like one somber hour long song. Way too depressing.

this is terrible

When I first heard the song he did with Disclosure, I thought to myself "what year is this, 1996?!"

Stay with me is actually really good. I don't listen to radio so I only heard recently, but dudes got major chops. Don't if I want to listen to the rest of this though

Never been one to buy an album based on a single, but with a voice like that I couldn't resist. Minus the first track, this album is pretty nice. Would love to hear a stripped down version though.

Stay with me is pretty sweet. this man sure got pipes. I was hoping for something in the vein of How To Dress Well with this release, but it appears that the album isn't as strong as the single if I'm to judge by the general opinions on here.

Money on My Mind is god awful, its not easy to make a song that bad. What mouth breather in the studio thought that chorus was acceptable

Guy got pipes. Too bad the music is depressing and boring as shit. We gave this guy 4 Grammys. Why?

I don't mind it being depressive, but you're definitely right about about it being boring as shit

I hate these kind of choir-type artists. "Stay With Me" from this fool and "All of Me" (or "All of You", whatever the hell it's called) from John Legend were so utterly simplistic and boring that they made me want to punch the radio. How can people actually listen to this rubbish and not want to fall asleep? Sam Smith should stick to guest appearances only because, while I didn't really care for "La La La" (or whatever the hell that song was called), Disclosure's "Latch" was incredible. I'm definitely not looking forward to hearing his 007 theme song; though I did love Adele's song, which surprised me, so maybe the composers of this next Bond film can surprise me again.
