Hated this when it came out back in the day, and I was already off the Rush bandwagon by Grace Under Pressure. In retrospect, I've come to appreciate it in light of what came after, which I consider even worse (Presto, Roll the Bones, Counterparts). I just didn't go for the Rush synth sound at the time (although I loved Signals - had more of an analog sound to it).



I can at least listen to HYF, which I can't say for the next three albums. Power Windows was another one I didn't go for at the time but I have since come to love that album.

a farewell to kings + hemispheres if you want something proggy and awesome or permanent waves if you want something a little more poppy

Just want a good place to start overall. Kinda get a good feel for the band.
