This album is as good as anything Maiden has ever done.



I remember back in at 101st, Psyops used to cart out huge speakers and rock this album while us Infantry grunts armed up.

This album is by far the most overrated album from 80s Maiden. The Trooper is one of their best songs but there are 4 songs on here that just aren't as good as a lot of their other songs. Where Eagles Dare, Die with Your Boots on, Sun and Steel and Quest for Fire are all not up to standards. I greatly enjoy Still Life, To Tame a Land, Flight of Icarus and Revelations though

I just found Castle 2 disc reissue of this!!! m/ Quest for Fire knocks it down to 4.5
