See, to me this album is a lot of fun. Tbh I don't really give a fuck about the lyrics when the musical side of a record is engaging. Also, the vocals on here sound urgent as fuck (apart from Cavalera) and the vocal trade-offs work well too.

I agree with Wiz that Cavalera is the weak link here, hence why my rating isn't higher.

admit it Pleb, if Greg wasn't on it you wouldn't care

I wouldn't have checked it out if it was just Cavalera and some randomers, Greg & Troy are what had me interested.

I find this to be a decent listen, but it gets too repetitive and dull, and has too few standouts IMO. I honestly like the opener the most, which I think will contradict most people's opinions.

"sounds fukken m/m/m/m/m/m/m/m/m/"

Is that "m/m/m/m/m/m/m/m/" thing a thing now?

i wouldn't have checked this if it was not for troy and greg, but who cares? those dude's rule. those two, and some sweet riffs here and there is enough for me. probably won't even end up listening to it enough to rate, but its a fun listen

It doesn't have a great deal of replay value unfortunately. I've listened to it about 10 times, and while it is great, it does feel a little dull after a while.

But, yeah, Emyay, same. Greg and Troy, plus Volta drummer. Fuck Max, he ruins this album.

i've barely heard anything max is involved with so i don't have much of an opinion on him but he's easily the worst part of this

Man if they could continue the energy from the first 5 tracks through the entire album this would've been one of the albums of the year. Those tracks were a fucking onslaught, hit after hit after hit.

Definitely one of my favorites on this. First half is much better than the second imo.

Yeah, I agree. Some of the songs later on in the album feel oddly put together too.

the cover for this pisses me off. saw it before i knew who/what the band was and assumed it'd be some nifty powerviolence/hardcore album but it isn't ugh

I wish Greg did most, if not all of the vocals. That would definitely improve it. It's pretty okay, but not anything I'll listen to regularly.
