There's definitely cool things happening on this but it's still kinda tedious. If you take out the orchestral accenting, the songs themselves are pretty generic and forgettable.

Tbh that thing happened with earlier epica works swantko, which were good but not outstanding, since the divine consipiracy they gained more intensity and added different elements which made their sound more solid

This album sounds like a much more mature version of Consign to Oblivion. The orchestration is so good on this one, especially.
It could just be me but I get wicked Oceanborn era Nightwish vibe on some of these songs, particularly "Canvas of Life" and "Natural Corruption".
Loving it so far. Can't give a proper rating until I let it sink in though.
