Still haven't checked a full release by these guys. Started The Music of Erich Zann once but didn't dig it much. I should really give them another chance though.

My first contact with the band was Pictures At An Exhibition, which I found as a second-hand CD in a random shop.
The Music of Erich Zann is a tough nut to crack, it needs time and listens.

Let me give Pictures At An Exhibition a chance then.

^^Pictures At An Exhibition is an adaptation of Modest Mussorgsky's work by the same name, for metal group and classical orchestra. And it's quite complex too, as far as I remember.
Besides In A Mirror Darkly, I would suggest Kaleidoscope, Mekong Delta or Dances of Death for a good first contact with the band. They are adventurous as every Mekong Delta album, but they sink into the mind relatively fast.
