First heard a couple of tracks 2-3 years ago. Gave the full album a chance today.

This is pretty nice. A bit repetitive and generally works better for me as a passive listen but the first 4 + Ephemeral and The River are very solid tracks.

The best Insomnium record, it's so full of subtle light and hope that I almost didn't believe it at first. Stellar songwriting, a very good production and of course that incredible closing s/t track with one of the best lyrics they've had.

Yea, seems like this wasn't the worst starting point for this band. It's a really nice listen at the very least
