I always loved this, but it was never on my radar for the decade. That’s gonna definitely have to change. I can’t stop listening to it now.

i think youd like it. Very scottish angsty and nostalgic, great production, but it didnt receive a lot of media/critic attention so its a bit undersung.

Yess Chan, I think you'll adore it. My favourite album of all-time. Means so much to me.

River from dark dark bright and dendron off this will be in my decade song list. Pretty close with The Elder and Oak though, so may include all three.

Roots is my favorite but I'd say River or Here is Where is the best
Dark Bright 100% seems like a Channing album through and through I'm floored he hasn't heard it

I’ve never heard of There Will Be Fireworks. Checking now.
Side note, this album might be top 5 for me this decade too. Next to Lack Long After in terms of raw emotion.

Happy to read the TWBF love. If you dig Frightened Rabbit and Gang of Youths there is basically a 0% chance you won't dig The Dark Dark Bright. Lay Me Down has gotta be one of the most beautiful ballad tracks of the decade no lie. and when the tremolo kicks in on Youngblood, just kill me. Uh, this Hotelier record is also rad lol

Funny, I love gang of youths, frightened rabbit and this, but the dark dark bright never resonated with me sadly. Very very pleasant, but it never got further than that for me. It may be worth going back to now, it's been a year or so since I last jammed it

Might one of those that suddenly clicks. This one wasn't a 5 for me initially until life made it so.
