slave ambient is probably going to come out as my favourite overall, but this definitely requires some time to penetrate.

People are saying this album is top-heavy, but the best songs are Eyes To The Wind and In Reverse imo.

Only criticism I have with this review is that you don't delve into the lyrics, which probably are the single best aspect of this band and album.

Those tags have my interest. So does this review.

"From its amazing musicianship and to its strive to create a story in the listener's mind, everything falls into place quite nicely."
Don't think you need the 'and' after musicianship. The 'to' should be just find on it's own.

"However, these songs start to reveal that many of these songs start to sound the same after a while."
You say 'start' and 'songs' twice in this sentence. You could just write the second half as: "...many of them have too similar of a sound after a while" or "many of them start to blend together after a while".

"...but it would have been nice to have seen a couple drumming performances to separate it from the previous track and some variety because after a while the songs start to blend together."
You have already touched on the song blending/sounding the same part earlier in this paragraph, so this could be worded a little differently. You could just axe the end and state something to the effect of: "...previous track and give the album some much needed variety."

Yeah... will have to check this out at some point. Good read, guy!

It's a sweet album. I'm impressed that despite its length it doesn't tire or bore. I should say I'm kinda in love with the overarching atmosphere they created here, really nice.

Also great review, made me check the album and I'm glad I don't regret it.
