My professor from my Introduction to Music class played a song from this album, no one else in the class have heard of them, Tosin Abasi, or Mr. Bungle aside from me. Oh well, at least I'll stand out in some way to the professor.

The thumping technique isn't that bad after loads of practice, but the only song that I've had the patience to learn is An Infinite Regression. It's basically just using your thumb as a guitar pick; no slapping in the conventional sense.
