All women have a B-side.

If you keep eating tofu you will too.

Anyway... I love this album. The lyrics really strike a chord with me, the album has a sense of coherence with each song sticking out, and it doesn't overstay its welcome. Really sad it didn't click with many people.

This was better than I thought when I first listened to it.

Following smash hit 'Pumped Up Kicks', indie-pop trio Foster The People switch things up a bit on their 2nd LP 'Supermodel'. Co-produced with Paul Epworth, this transitional album of sorts is much more instrumental than their debut, with more emphasis on psychedelia and even some experimenting with world music influences. Still at their best when spotlighting their poppy hooks, not everything here is successful, but many tunes will grow on the patient. With no songs under 4 minutes, the LP does feel a little longer than its 48 minute duration. Recommended Tracks: Coming Of Age, Are You Want You Want To Be?, Ask Yourself & Best Friend.

The best way I'd describe this is a bunch of mediocre to good songs, none of which are memorable. Torches was several leagues better than this IMO.

Well, this is an underrated album. I loved this when it came out and I still love it, which I can't say about most music that came out at that time.

Torches is way better. But I give them mad respect for going for a less commercial and more experimental sound on this. A Beginner's Guide to Destroying the Moon is better than anything off of Torches tho

A Beginner's Guide to Destroying the Moon is brilliant, too bad the rest isn't nearly as good

i'll probably get around to this album now that the new singles are out. foster the people was my first real concert and it was amazing; they have a special place in my heart even if they write B- tier indie pop

for real like "Pseudologia Fantastica" is a psych-rock odyssey of a track akin to like Psychedelic Porn Crumpets or such

i ain't exaggerating
