You find that most of the time when someone is confronted with the question to back up a statement like, "This guy is fucking retarded, capitalism has caused so much shit" they will rarely respond. Its just what everyone else is claiming, so they decide to claim it as well.
Not that I could back up such a statement, or its antithesis, but that's why I don't make such statements. Because I feel I lack enough knowledge to even begin to argue for either side.

This reviewer has spawned a new genre of troll, post-trolling

I'd HATE to be in his situation.
Unless I was troll-reviewing Dark Side Of The Moon for April Fools' Day

Hmmm. pos'ed the review.
I agree with many of the opinions you have expressed here. But, I do like the music, and find them to be talented at the art.
Political bands create sheep, period!!! RATM know this and made a crap ton of money off of these sheep. They also grabbed some of my money, but I have never generally agreed with the message they were selling.
With that said...the line that sold me the most was this
"The most famous section of your song is the line "*** you, I won't do what you tell me" repeated over and over annoyingly, like a kindergartner having a temper tantrum."
I have always felt this was about that childish rant!!!

I actually agree with some of your points, even if there's very little here about the actual music. This album is ok, some of it is forgettable but not terrible by any means. There's certainly a huge gaping hole in their political opinions which do come across as childish & uninformed, they could've at least released the album themselves or something... anti-capitalists my arse!

This would be a good review/rant if it was even halfway intelligent. I mean, just look at this:
"cap·i·tal·ism noun ˈka-pə-tə-ˌliz-əm, ˈkap-tə-, British also kə-ˈpi-tə-
: a way of organizing an economy so that the things that are used to make and transport products (such as land, oil, factories, ships, etc.) are owned by individual people and companies rather than by the government
See? Nothing about "exploitation". It just means that the means of production are owned by individuals rather than the government (which occurs under socialism). This also means that non-government "Co-ops" actively qualify as capitalism, for unless government coercion and ownership is involved, the means of production are still owned by individuals and not the state."
That is probably the dumbest thing I've read today, and I've read several dumb things today.

Second best Rage.

damn I can agree with some of the points here but this is a mediocre review from a salty right-wing dude
and god knows I hate far-left politics, and RATM's political lyrics specifically. Though to me, it's more their overall music and delivery that I find appealing, and well, good.
