Fuck man.

Unanimous hatred was expected, obviously, but give credit where credit is due, guys.

First time round, I just listened to the drops via iTunes previews - each song seemed fun in their

own separate ways, and Skrillex doing new stuff AND old stuff was expected.

Then I streamed the whole album, and although a lot of tracks were easily forgotten (SO much pitch-

down vocals, it hurts), some tracks still stuck with me. FucK That and Dirty Vibe are great, Doompy

Poomp was cool (would have defo worked better as a short interval track though), and is it just me,

or is the intro on Stranger absolutely fantastic?? (Not the rest of Stranger though...I hate the

rest).

And the rest of the album is still fun. Ragga Bomb, Try It Out and AIFILAB are a heavy and a tonne

of fun.

I expected a lot of shallow fun from this, and thats what I got. Was I really the only one??

I don't know, in terms of shallow fun there's some far better stuff being released. Hell, most of the shit Monstercat pumps out is better than this

Very nice review, although I'm a bit confused why you'd expect Skrillex to mature along with his audience, or even, if his audience itself is maturing? Apart from a few edge cases like yourself, that doesn't seem to be the case.
