Just kinda dull tbh dude, Sam's vocals get real tiresome and the riffs are kinda non existent at times.

I really have the feeling that Architects are one day going to write a great record and as much as I may say that I enjoyed this one.. it's not the one.

This album is better than most other things out right now lets be honest. Why do you meatheads hate on breakdowns so much? Last time I checked they get me pretty fired up so

"I think they've still got something up their sleeves if only they directed themselves without conforming to trends within the genre. "

Exactly what I think. I believe they actually have the ability to create something better than hollow crown, but they are trapped in pleasing the fans and staying popular.

I have been listening to this album for about a week and I don't understand all the criticism either. Granted, I've never listened to an Architects album before this but having listened to metalcore for years, this is not even close to the worst I've heard. I haven't rated it yet but IMO its a 3. Yes, some of the songs are fucking awful but there are some really good ones too.

damn, guess we haven't been listening to music properly

and yeah, rating's a bit too harsh - should probably be 2.5

Haven't listened to much of this, but I really enjoyed C.A.N.C.E.R. and Red Hypergiant. Maybe I'm a man of simple tastes.

Finally someone said it! It had to be said. I was expecting something more by this band.

It’s been said before; time and time again that metalcore has lost its basic originality.

If it's been said before, what's the use in saying it again?

Meth gets me fired up too, but it's bad for me and illegal.

I miss the days of Ruin. They had so much potential.

I just listened to Ruin, and wow. I remembered it being good, but it kind of blows anything they've done recently out of the water. Not to sound too reactionary in a musical sense, but this band's experimentation and evolution has not been the best.

They're just looking to write songs that get the crowd fired up now I think.

Well I suppose they probably succeeded in that, if that was their objective.

Well I've seen them countless times and no one ever really moved until the here and now was released. Still I just figure it's because no one knew who they were yet.
